next i wanted to buil a support for the 205, since most of the time they are left unsupported. i started with a 3" piece of angle iron, shaped it and drilled it for the bolts then i cut tabs for the frame, to hold a bushing sleeve. drilled them out, and welded them in place i bolted in the bushing sleeve, and bolted on the angle and cut a piece of tubing and notched it to fit. welded on some 90 gussets, tacked the tubing, pulled the bushings and finished welding. got bored while it was cooling and made a crossmember. finished product!

Looking good Nick, glad to see more progress. I Like the t case mount, I wish the 205 in the scout had the three tapped holes in the side to mount with, I am going to have to make a propeller mount for it, kinda like the t case mount on the cruiser.

its a long ways from done. what does the propellar mount look like? do you have a pic? i know mine is a ford but the gm 205's have 2 larger holes in the same spot.

Some do, some don't. Unfortunatly the one in the Scout does not have any. The 205 I had in my Jeep didn't have any bolt holes there eather, so building a mount off the back of the case is about the only option.
