Ponyboy Fab. I've always said, "I you want it Built, Do it Yourself" Yeah sure maybe its a little slower, but, If you build it yourself, (And you know what your doing) You can fix it when it breaks. So for the longest time I have always wanted to do a Solid Front axle swap in my Bronco. Well the time has come to chop and rebuild........ I know there are a couple other Bronco drivers in here so I am going to keep a running talley of the costs of my build. Also, I am a picture whore so expect several pictures...... Here is the week before and the day of the tear down

OK got a lot done today. Stripped down the D44HD and took the Rotors and Calipers off. 33 lbs per side 144 -66 78 pounds of weight lost....... It took me all day to grind off the 14Bolt perches and other things that were welded to the tubes, Finished gringing so I put some temporary paint on it so it doesnt rust up again. Damn my hands are still vibrating. LOL........ Mounted one side rotor on the Hub and now I have retired for some much deserved BEER.....:beer Just a few pix of what I finished up today.......
