So what welders does everyone use. I am kinda wanting to get a wirefeed welder was thinking of just getting a 110 with gas setup. I am wanting to do some sheet metal work on the Runner and don't want to have to borrow one. i have a 220 arc welder that I built the runner with but I would think that the sheet metal would be better with a mig. We have one at work not sure if it would be strong enough, although I did weld spring perches on a trailer axle and it seemed to have good penetration. Any recomendations, trying to stay as cheap as possible, if not I will wait.

I run a millermatic 175 which is a 220v mig, works pretty damn good, if any way possible I would try to get a 220v vs a 110v, you will have much more versatility. I can do sheet metal up to about 5/16"

I have the same model as Josh, only mine is 20+ years old. Works well, don't do much thin stuff though, burned a lot of wire with that machine. I agree buy a 220V
