iv been slakin on updates but im waiting for my carb to show up i have a holley truck avenger (a early modle) that had factory defect so holley is replacing it for cost of shipping so hopefully i get that pretty quick if not i will rebuild the edlebrock, i decided to spend time with family from montana so that took up 5 days but im getting closer to starting the pig. had a 1 wire 90 amp alt built at kyles alternator here in battle ground Mr.Mudslinger re-worked my ps brkt a couple weeks ago when he was here, thank again kev got the brakes all plummed and put the drive slugs in ram is all set, orbital is mounted, the resvoire will be mounted in a few hours and most of the lines will be ran but i need to get some different fittings than steering will be %100

Very sweet zack. Don't forget to bleed that system out good before you start it. If nothing else take the. Belt off the pump before you start it up. How much longer till you get it all finished up buddy.

When I put my steering together, I put fluid in, & just started turning the wheel back, & forth with the tires in the air, & the orbital pumped the fluid throughout the system, just watch the level in the reservoir, keep going until the fluid level stays the same. When I started the engine, steering worked fine, very little change in the fluid level in the reservoir. BTW the progress looks good, I am hoping to be ready for a shakedown run on the 20th, do you think you will be done by then?

just been trying to get things knocked off the list thought i would give up some pics. i still plan on securing the hoses better, the other day i had to go back thru and tighten bunch of the hoses cause it was bleeding all over plug wires, distributer, fuel pump, and a tight squeeze on a 429(damn I'm almost out of room) got the radiator mounts made up yesterday but i have to pull it 1 more time to clearance for hoses then ill get the trans cooler mounted and fan

It's alive!!! Damn, that sounds good. I was surprised too on how fast mine started after sitting for a year, had all of the fuel lines disconnected. With TBI if I run out of gas it is a bitch to start.
