worth 5k if 3.0 w/stick, unless front is built, 22re, 5 sp, and dual cased, then maybe 7k-8kobo

its a 3.0 (pretty sure) and it was professionally rebuilt along with the trans. both have 30,000 miles on them. truck was built by a offroad shop (cascade offroad). im not trying to spend 8,750 obviously but its a nice truck.

i thought it was a plus that it was all professionally rebuilt. sounds like the 22re is just definitely the preferred motor but have you had any bad experience with a 3.0
wish it was closer so i could check it out and drive it without having to drive all day long

They definitely don't last as long as a 22re and they have head/head gasket problems, once they are fixed (that one probably is since it's been rebuilt) you'll probably be just fine.

ok so i found the phone number for cascade offroad. im gunna call them when i get out of class and figure out for sure what parts are on the truck (ie. axles gears, info on motor tans rebuild, etc....) if everything checks out im going to look at it tomorrow. I talked to him and got him down 2 grand on the phone. found out the kc lights are not on it anymore, and the winch is a 3000lb POS. so im gunna try and work him a bit more on the price, but if everything is legit and rebuilt/built professionally im 95% sure ill be buying it. Ill be back into portland tomorrow night obviously and i'd love to go wheeling with you! Let me know what youre plans are
