yeah, i tore the power unit off the 'Ol parts toyota in the yard, but didnt find the check valve until Sunday! should work fine now. i need to tighten my steering belt and reseal the tranny pan. do a little trimming for my 203 shifter, and check fluids, but pretty much ready to go

figured out my prob on sat with the gear oil. i shouldn't have rotated the 14b up as much as i did, with low oil, the pinion is starved. with the high fill plug on the diff cover i should be able to run more oil though. i should be fine unless im runnin a race like at browns camp......."Fuck"

you could also jack up one side to get the oil into the axle tube so you can fill it more if needed

no, it just sucked, because my shift linkage wouldnt let me go into 1:1 in the 203 so i was runnin low range at high rpms all day. but the rear gears starving of oil didnt help either

i changed the oil, tranny fluid, tightened everything up, picked up some extra gaskets, silcon, and fluids, tightened steering belt, put in a temp dash, wired more speakers, mounted subs, fixed brake lights, even started a new 14bolt project in the mean time. might even work on putting the uhmw on the sliders today. putting together tools and parts in the shop and gettin antsy to leave!

just thought i would give an update, yep drivers spring is still pretzel'd up rocker is smashed in wrap bar is still broken, the good stuff is still holdn the oil pan leak though
