Got the 4th wheel done tonight, braced the passenger side slider to the frame in 4 spots, going to brace the driver's side tomorrow night. For $25 each the rock rings are well worth it, nothing fancy but should get the job done.

Rock rings look good, nothing wrong with sticking to the KISS theory.

looking good! are they gonna pin the door shut when they flex up 3/4"? are you gonna have a tube off the slider to tie the exo straight down into and double as a step?, or is the exo connecting to the ends? the bends look great. you must have been doin your homework!

Going to build a small step that the exo can tie into. Once I tie the cage into it hopefully it won't flex up much, but it should have a little room before it pins the doors closed.

are you cutting behind the front tire at all? the fender i mean? or will you clear fully flexed. serious question here, why not have the slider 6" longer and have the tube go straight down into it with no bend? (last pic) i kno you have a reason, just curious

The slider I built into the rocker only goes as far as the front of the door (where the slider extension is bent to) and there is a body mount right there underneath so I can't get it back to the frame. I'm not 100% happy with having to do that I just didn't know any other way to tie it in. I also need to cut some of the fender back still. If you want to come over and give me some ideas I'm more than happy to hear you out.

I think I figured out what I'm going to do to change it, I really didn't like it in the 1st place. I will be working on it most of the day on Saturday, probably 9am-4pm, you are welcome to come over and bring the jeep for some final welding.
