Ok by the time you get done reading this you will think i have A.D.D. (as most people who know me, think i do already lol)
I started off buying 1980 dodge W200 powerwagon from a guy i knew at my old job. 360 engine, 435, np205, HD44 front, 60 rear, warn winch bumper with an 8274. the motor ran but was toast, when i was tearing it down i pulled the exhaust off and had water pouring out of the number 7 cylinder. Took over a year to get the title for the truck, changed my mind several times about what direction the build was gonna go.
About this time i left that job and had a sizable cash account from work i cashed out, paid some bills off and went shopping for truck parts. Crate 360, edlebrock carb and intake, some bling aluminum valve covers, new guages. I also had some parts left over from other builds, mojave style heater, add a leafs to level out the front, blah blah blah.
Got tired of dealing with dodge body issues, found a 67 jeep gladiator with a running AMC 327 in it. traded a sawed off 12GA shotgun for it. so i am pulling the cab and front clip from the jeep and will be mounting them on the powerwagon chassis then building a flatbed. i traded a old set of wheels i will never use for an auxillary fuel tank, its a 105 gallon "L" shaped bed tank that i will be hooking up as a feeder to the 25-30 gallon tank between the frame rails.
now onto the pics.
i will have to try to find some of the pics of the powerwagon when i brought it home. but here it is with the new engine in and some new 35" ires that i have since pulled and put on my blazer.
stripping the old body mounts off and i will build new mounts, you can see the valve covers also
already started gutting the glad
