Well not much of an update. Been cleaning up the frame and working on new tranny mounts, trying to make them beefier so the frame won't cave in. Also we got pre approved tonight to buy a house, so we are offically in the market. Jeep will most likely have to get put on hold for a little while but its worth it.

Bringing this back from the dead. Got a nice 4 bedroom house in October off of 94th and Padden Parkway. Spent a few weeks painting and moving in. Started working on the Jeep in January off and on. Pulled the engine, grill, and radiator. Then decided I needed to lose more of the stock frame. Chopped the front frame off just ahead of the shock mounts. The front was pretty hacked so it was just easier to replace.

Got the frame welded up and started making the new front frame section out of 2"x4" square tube. Then welded it to the frame. Got the frame ground down, waiting on the fab shop at my work to cut out some plates for the inside and out to tie everything togeather.

Forgot a few pics. Fixed my frame where the transmission mounts caved it in. Cut the old section out and found some beefy channel to replace it Then welded it up and ground it down for some plates Made some plates out of 3/16" material and welded them on. Should hold up a lot better now. Just need to weld on new trans mounts.

That should make it beefy enough, the same mounts on the trans, & engine will make a big difference too.
