About your shackle flip, you could always just find some 56" springs @ the junk yard so your angle would be better. Just a thought, then you would have more flex from the spring and shackle.

i dont know how long your shackles are, but you need to run 7 1/4" to get the right angle, at least thats what it looks like.

i dont know how long your shackles are, but you need to run 7 1/4" to get the right angle, at least thats what it looks like. they are 6in long but i think it wont matter till i get longer spings or move the brackets towrds the front of the rig a little, that way the shackles wont be pointing strait down at the sping eys right. have you tried those off set pieces in the front.

If you run the 56's in the rear then you won't have to change the drive line, just run the long side of the spring in the rear, if you want to move the axle back then flip them so the long side is in the front and that will move it back 4" (this is what I did) they probably won't give you much lift though. For the front you could always move the front mount forward and run 52" springs, that would help a little. As for the zero rate add-a-leafs you can run them in the front but wouldn't go more than 1". I'm running 1" zero rates in the rear of my s-ton and used them to move the axle back 1.5".

Changed that motor mount yet? If the weather holds off I might try to go finish putting the hummer ford back together.
