Well, if you need parts for a dana 30 again, let me know. I will have a spare one when I get my lift done

Thanks I will keep that in mind. It looks like I will not have enough money for a dana 60 for a while and upgrading to a dana 44 I don't think it's worth it with a V8 and bigger tires then they recommend for a dana 44.. So.. I guess for now I'll just keep replacing axle shafts in the dana 30 and try and save up for that 60 I need.

a d44 would be 100x stronger than a d30, and totally worth upgrading, unless your savin up and holdin out for the 60, that would be awesome

It's back together again.. and drive able at the moment. But I could not get the ball joints out and I really think they need replaced. I guess I will have to take it some place to get them replace. I BHD 3 lb only mushrumed the top of one ball jont and the ball joint press, even with 185 PSI of line pressure (220 tank pressure) and a 1/2 impact gun would not budge it... I even soaked it a couple day's with penetratin oil and had Ken (who does them for a living) come over. After about 2 hours we decided it was not worth replacing at that time:-)..
