Well I have been so frustrated with not being able to wheel for the past year that I had to do something. I figure it will give me some extra motivation to get that damn Bronco done sooner. The down side is I know nothing about Yotas. NOTHING...... I feel like newb again. I dont even know what kinda running gear is under it. Well I know about the axles, but the Tranny and T-Case are a mystery...... So school me. Whats the stock 4cyl, 4speed tranny and t case in this thing..........
LOL I just realized,,,, I have 2 Chev's, 1 Ford, 1 VW, and now a Yota in the Yard.......

Whatever you do don't weld the front end with the stock birfields, they WILL break and when they do the pieces usually end up binding the steering cause the get lodged in the knuckle, Trail-Gear has some pretty inexpensve chromoly axles. Your transfer case is a 21 spline gear driven case. Depending on the year you will want to do a front axle truss asap, so it doesn't smiley face on you, the 85 front housing already has it. Here you go.... brokenaxle4x.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=forsale&action=display&thread=200

If you weld up the front you better go with hydro assist too.

Got lots of plans and no money right now. Riana was in the Hospital for three days and had to have surgery Just got back a few hours ago. This bill is gonna have a nice bite to it.....
Anyway. Still cant figure whether to go 1 ton and link it yet. I got everything but the Chev drop 60. and I could get that in trade for one of my Ford 60's.....
Hydro is in the future, assist anyway. I was with a buddy that had full hydro at Elbe. Lets just say it took 2 hours to drive out when it broke..........

She is good now, just operation pain and suffering lol. She is resting in bed and I get to wait on her hand and foot. Got another tire dropped off today so I get to drive it around the yard some more. I gotta replace the steering draglink and throw some grease at the Birf's before I do any wheelin outside of the property though. I will get some better pix up today when Riana takes a nap.......
