Hey guys and gals just doing a newbie check in my name is sean im from albany or. I wheel a 74 shortbed chevy with a 4" lift soon to be 8" when i get around to putting the new superlift in and scrounge some longer brake lines. She has a built 383 stroked balanced with most of the bells and whistles a dana 44 front and corp. 14 rear its sitting on 35" swamper tsl's in the rear and 35" bfg mtr's. going to a 3/4 ton flat top open knuckle 44 and some 39.5 boggers as soon as the funds come in probably tax time. Will post pics of her when i figure that out.
Pics added at bottom.

Ya i may just keep the 4" save work and can sell the 8" for additional funding. The front fenders are rotted through on the bottoms anyway.

She's not to pretty but with a new rattle can army green i think it will turn out allright. I finally got under it and found a flat top dana44 just need to do the 8 lug swap so i dont have to carry 2 spares. And some inner fenders to keep the mud out would probably be a good idea!

Keep it as low as you can, & if you wheel it it don't need to be pretty!

well damn went wheeling today was going up a steep hill and started getting some wheel hop heard a loud clunk then my front end went out. Got home took off the diff cover to find about a hundred chunks of metal in the diff fluid assuming its the spider gears but havent had the time to dig into it. But she should be ready to hit some trails again in a month or so ill be reading the board for upcoming excursions assuming newbies are allowed to tag along lol.
